In great condition with shiny gelcoat. They made a fixed keel version too but this is the centerboarder with a kickup rudder. A very responsive sailing dinghy so maybe not the best boat for someone new to sailing. Comes with main and furling jib. It also has a Tohatsu 3.5 hp outboard and sits on a galvanized trailer. |

1979 Young Sun "Westwind" 35 was inspired by Bob Perry and built in Taiwan with the same shipyard professionalism as the next-door Tayana yard. • She is a heavy double-ended full-keel blue-water sailboat that draws 5' 6". • She has not been out of water for the last three years, but bottom maintained by diver every 6 weeks. When she was last painted it was with anti-fouling. The hull has been Interlux epoxy coated and was 100 blister-free. • Engine Yanmar 3YM30. The Yanmar three lunger was rebuilt and runs like a watch. Very dependable. • Sails Genoa jib, staysail, mainsail, storm jib and main, older spare mainsail, gennaker cruising chute • Electrical two 120v solar panels with solar charge controller and digital voltage amp readout. • Garmin GPS map 742xs with radar and chart plotter, US and Bahamas charts. Auto pilot, New Ray marine linear drive auto pilot. Radio Navman GPS compatible VHF. • Custom Sunbrella cushions in cockpit and V-berth.
