The Village Gallery welcomes oil painter Angela Tommaso Hellman as its guest artist for the month of August 2016. Tommaso Hellman began painting when she was 5, taught by a neighboring artist on Staten Island. A graduate of Flagler College in St. Augustine she has worked as a graphic designer and taught elementary school art. She currently lives in Cary and is a member of the Waverly Artists Group. As her exhibit at the Village Gallery will show, figures, still lifes, landscapes and beach scenes are frequent subjects for her paintings.

The Village Gallery is a cooperative gallery showing the works of local and regional artists in a range of media. The Gallery, on Hodges across from the harbor, is open from 10a-5p Wednesday through Sunday.
