Help paint a large scale map of the US on the playground at Fred Anderson Elementary on Saturday April 21, 2018. The project is being led by Vonnie Colvin, who has painted more than a dozen maps at schoolyards in Virginia and written about using playground maps as a way to work math, spelling and geography into phys ed.

A few more volunteers (adults only) would be welcomed to help paint on Saturday starting at 11a and running to about 4p. (Attire: clothing and shoes you don’t mind getting paint on.)
