The Pamlico County Democratic Party holds its annual Convention on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Pamlico County Courthouse. It is open to the general public – you don’t have to be a registered Democrat to attend. It’s an opportunity to meet some of the candidates running for seats on the county Board of Commissioners and Board of Education and in the Legislature.

Special guests include Ginger Garner and Dorothea White, NC Senate District 2 hopefuls. (The May 5 primary will decide which of them runs in the fall for the seat now held by Republican Norm Sanderson.) The keynote speaker will be Tess Judge, the Democratic candidate for NC House District 6, the Outer Banks district that Pamlico County was mapped in to last year.
