Cruising Crew Checks In
April 9, 2013

To the Editor:

Congratulations on the great photo of the rudder on Southern Cross on TownDock.

My wife Sue and I have done work on our boat ANGEL LOUISE in Oriental, and love seeing TownDock on the web wherever we go. We have enjoyed being critiqued by coffee drinkers while docking at Oriental’s public dock several different years while transiting the US ICW.

We checked up on TownDock today, (including all the local news and letters) and think you have one of the finest online experiences anywhere in the world.

We today are floating at a dock in SW Turkey on the Aegean Sea, ready to travel off this week. Oriental is a distant destination for us, as soon as we complete our current European voyage. After last sailing away from Oriental in 2010 we took Angel Louise, a 41 foot Catalac Catamaran, 38 days at sea across the North Atlantic, and have voyaged from England to Holland and traveled to the Black Sea going through the Rhein and Danube Rivers. Most recently our voyage has taken us through Istanbul and down to the Aegean between Greece and Turkey. In another day we leave for this years voyage, eating our way West through the Mediterranean and then sailing back to America where we hope to visit Oriental again.

Thanks for having a great web site.
