The Marines are coming – “invading” – Oriental on Thursday December 15. The invasion is a training exercise with Marines about town and helicopters overhead. This photo is from a 2010 Marine exercise in Oriental… the helicopters flew really low. TownDock staff enjoyed the view. There was ample opportunity to take it in.
