English version. Motor starts immediately and runs well at correct operating temperature. Once warmed up, oil pressure drops from 45 to 20 verified on mechanical gauge. I don't know what the problem is but suspect oil pump or bottom end bearings. No obvious bearing knocks. Engine is complete with injection pump, heat exchanger, starter, alternator, Sherwood raw water pump, newer oil cooler hoses. Resealed rear main seal with updated teflon version 3 years ago and it doesn't leak. It's been out of the boat for a month or so. |
