he coming ferry tolls have been the talk of the town. Most citizens are not enthused about being the only residents in North Carolina whose existing state highway route is getting a toll added. Workers would pay a toll to get to their jobs, and school buses would be tolled too. The passengers would be paying a toll too, a dollar a head, on top of the toll paid for the car or bus.

It has artist Laura Turgeon a bit steamed. Her latest drawing says it all:
