Light Up Dragon of Oriental

In 2020, a new addition was added to the Spirit of Christmas: the Light Up Oriental contest.Residents were encouraged to decorate their homes and businesses for the season. Commissioners had the task of judging the light displays, and picking a residential and business winner in six categories.
The prize, unknown until the awards ceremony, was a drawing from local artist Laura Turgeon:
