LOST: 1997 Carolina Skiff Center Console with new Evanrude engine. Vessel Number NC-6727 CS. Length 17’. Has a teal blue Bimini and white covered seating with teal piping. Lost at the end of Paradise Shores Road in Merritt/Whortonsville area. If located please contact Debbie Barker at 252-229-5571 or debbiebarker41@hotmail.com


LOST: Florence boosted the end of our floating dock platform over our pilings. This platform has two catty corner openings for pilings and is approximately 15 by 20 feet in diameter. It has 5/4 by 6 decking lumber and black floats. The platform had a Danforth anchor and 100 feet of scope on it. Additionally, there was a 50 pound weight on a corner cleat. LOST: FOUND We’re still evacuated from Pamlico and in the Raleigh area because of extensive medical issues with my husband. I have been told that my 20-odd foot pontoon boat (which says Miller Time on it) is not at home! Seems she flew the coop sometime during the hurricane. We would love to have her back at the end of our dock on Moore’s Creek just off the Bay River. Please call Claudia McLean at 252-229-1892 if our missing boat is spotted.

FOUND: PICKED UP BY ANIMAL CONTROL Two beagles were found on Peninsula Dr. and Orchard Creek Rd. in Oriental on September 17th, and need to find their home. They are travelling together and are very friendly. They are not contained, but seem to be staying on one street as the property owners are providing food and a place to rest. If you have any information regarding the owner of these dogs, please contact us at 249-1885

Very thick and heavy bright blue Bimini or similar sunbrella cover in the rocks near the old brick diesel tank stands. Was unable to pull it out of water.
