FOUND: PICKED UP BY ANIMAL CONTROL Two beagles were found on Peninsula Dr. and Orchard Creek Rd. in Oriental on September 17th, and need to find their home. They are travelling together and are very friendly. They are not contained, but seem to be staying on one street as the property owners are providing food and a place to rest. If you have any information regarding the owner of these dogs, please contact us at 249-1885

FOUND: TownDock reader Katharine Schroeder says a small Dinghy named FootLoose is next to the garbage can in front of the house at the foot of High Street near the waterfront.

FOUND: Large blue Bimini @ OYC
Very thick and heavy bright blue Bimini or similar sunbrella cover in the rocks near the old brick diesel tank stands. Was unable to pull it out of water.


FOUND: One powerboat and two sailboats right next to each other stranded up Greens Creek. Located at 35°1’11.999” N 76°43’48” W.

FOUND: A cardboard box of nice new ratchet straps, a bungee cord, and a yellow shirt ended up in the yard of 514 Midyette st. Items are near the road, owner can retrieve at his or her convenience.

FOUND: Pecans Found. Lots of them. No picture but I’m pretty sure everyone’s pecans ended up in my yard across from Lupton Park. You’re free to come get them. Or you could come “skate” over them like I’ve been doing, that’s proven to be entertaining.
