Croakerfest Regatta - A Photo Essay
A View From the Bridge
July 11, 2008

T
hree dozen boats — Sailfish and Optimists — raced in the Croaker Regatta on Croakerfest Saturday. The Sunfish A fleet raced on the Neuse while the Sunfish B (Novice) and Optimist fleets raced in Greens Creek, in view of the Oriental Bridge.

The Optimist boats were helmed by students from the new Bow to Stern Youth Sailing Camp. In all, 20 Optimists and 16 Sunfish raced.

Results of the race follow two pages of views from the bridge.
