An Information/Orientation Session for prospective volunteers will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 @ 1:30 PM. at Heartworks 21st Century Community Learning Center, 709 Main Street, Bayboro. You will get a tour of the facility and learn about the free AfterSchool and Summer Programs that serve Kindergarten- 8th grade children. Volunteers are needed to read with children, tutor math, help in the classrooms and/or assist other volunteers with group enrichment activities such as Yoga, Chess, Basketball, Drumming, Book Club, etc.. (Believe it or not - the kids love all of those activities.) A weekly commitment is NOT required. Enter the building at the door under the exterior staircase of the big building. In this role, you'll collaborate with our Maintenance Coordinator to clean and maintain all cabins, bathrooms, bathhouses, and other key camp buildings.
