Must have an active or current licensure or certification. Volunteering at Hope Clinic offers medical providers an opportunity to focus on what brought many of them into healthcare in the first place: caring for patients. Because Hope Clinic does not bill insurance, providers are able to practice without many of the insurance barriers and prior authorization requirements found in traditional healthcare settings. Volunteers are supported by an experienced, collaborative team and extensive patient resources including an on-site pharmacy, laboratory services, case management, recovery care specialists, health coaching, and a Registered Dietitian who is also a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE). Bilingual staff and volunteers are available, along with on-demand video interpretation for Spanish and more than 200 additional languages. Hope Clinic also uses electronic medical record with AI-assisted documentation, helping make charting easier and allowing providers to spend more time focused on their patients. Flexible Volunteer Scheduling - Current provider and nursing/lab opportunities are primarily available on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with additional Tuesday clinic opportunities being developed. Volunteers may serve regularly or based on the time they have available. Current pharmacy opportunities are on Thursdays. Bow to Stern Boating is seeking a seasonal person with potential for more. We charter boats, conduct sailing and power boating lessons, host camps for kids, and also offer marina services. In order to do that we need to keep boats clean and operational. One minute you might be cleaning a boat or working on an engine, the next you might be helping to dock a boat or on a different task. Our priorities change with demand of customers and equipment. Main responsibilities will be keeping boats clean and ready for charter but experience with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fiberglass, brightwork, boat handling, and other facets of boating are a certainly a plus.
