On August 4, @ 4:30p, Nautical Wheelers is hosting a reception & wine tasting celebrating the release of Liza Wieland’s newest book Paris 7 a.m.

Liza Wieland is an American novelist, short story writer, and poet who has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Christopher Isherwood Foundation, and the North Carolina Arts Council, with several novel and short-story collections to her credit.

She is the 2017 winner of the Robert Penn Warren Award for Fiction from the Fellowship of Southern Writers. Liza doesn’t just sign books in Oriental. Her most recent book signing was at her alma mater – Harvard. After this Oriental event, she’s on to California. Liza lives near Oriental, and teaches at East Carolina University.

Along with the book signing Nautical Wheelers will have a French Wine Tasting, including:
Jacques Pelvas Sparkling Brut, Saint Jean de la Cavalerie Chardonnay, La Colombe Rose, Gerard Bertrard Red Blend & Pierre Rougon Chateauneuf-Du-Pape. It is all Sunday at 4:30p.
