Election Day Tues April 30The vote is for the 3rd Congressional District special election primaries. This race winnows the field of 26 candidates (17 Republicans, 6 Democrats, 2 Libertarians, 1 Constitution Party) down to 1 for each party.
Election Day for the primaries is Tuesday, April 30, 6:30a – 7:30p at all 10 precinct polling locations.
The General Election will be held July 9 to fill the Congressional seat of the late Representative Walter Jones. Rep. Jones held the office from 1994 until his passing on February 10.
