Visiting Artist JJ Jiang Teaches Mood Techniques for Watercolorists at ArtWorks, Saturday, Oct 16, 10a – 4p.

Watercolor Artist JJ Jiang teaches his workshop tailored to advanced-beginner to advanced watercolor artists.

Through a step-by-step live demo, JJ will brings a painting to completion, demonstrating how to use the techniques to transform a picture into an atmospheric/poetic painting. After each segment, he guides participants in their individual work.

Participants will have approximately 4 hours to finish their paintings. JJ will provide photos to be used for reference. Focus will be given to the wet-on-wet technique of watercolor. He will also talk about drawing, value, color and painterly approach.

This one day, six hour workshop is for advanced beginner to advanced level painters over 18 years of age. Class size limit is 10 participants.
