Join the 62nd Annual Ocracoke Regatta on Saturday, June 21, 2025.
McCotters Marina in Washington & the Provision Company in Oriental sponsor the Pamlico Sailing Club’s annual regatta.
This is a ~33 mile pursuit race to Ocracoke – with handicapping done at the start: slower boats start first, faster start last. There are spinnaker, non-spinnaker, and party classes. The party class is open to power and sail boats.
Friday night, anchor or raft-up in the lee of Indian Island. Goose Creek is the alternative if the weather dictates.
Starting line is between Marker #3 at Indian Island the RC Flag on the Committee Boat. Marker PP (Pamlico Point) is to starboard, Marker M (Inner Middle) is to port. Finish line is between Royal Shoal Marker #3 and the Orange Ball.
The day wraps up at the awards party from 1800 – 1930 hrs across from the park service docks. Entry fees go to the Little Washington Sailing School.
