Arapahoe United Methodist church is offering its Annual Corned Beef & Cabbage dinner Wednesday March 15, 2017 at 6p. Pam Yurko and her son, Mark, have been cooking this meal for about a dozen St Patrick’s Days, raising money for Pamlico County Fishes and Loaves Outreach – the food bank for the hungry in Pamlico County. Besides the 2 main ingredients, there’ll be red potatoes, glazed carrots, Irish soda bread, carrot cake, iced tea and coffee – all homemade with fresh ingredients, they say, nothing canned or frozen.
