A note from Pastor Anne Sims: “Oriental United Methodist Church (Rev. Dr. Anne Sims) and St. Thomas Episcopal Church (Senior Warden Rich Preble) will offer Ashes-on-the-Go at the Bean from 8-9 am. The name seems a little sacrilegious, but the observance can be very meaningful. One can walk or drive up, receive the mark of the cross on their foreheads with prayer and go about their day, or stay for a little conversation as they choose.”
