Chronic Prevention Disease Series: 4 classes. The next class is August 30.
PrimeTime, in collaboration with the Pamlico County Health Department, Duke University School of Nursing MPACT, & Bayboro Pharmacy presents four classes focusing on the prevention and maintenance of chronic diseases like Hypertension/High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, Diabetes, Cognitive Health, and Inflammation and Allergens.
Gain knowledge about the diseases and practical skills to manage or prevent these diseases through proper nutrition and lifestyle changes.
Each class features two hands-on cooking workshops where you learn valuable tips and recipes for a healthier lifestyle. Attendees then enjoy the prepared meal together.
Upon completion of the classes, a disease specific cookbook is presented to each participant.
