Cruisin' For Our Vets - Nov 7Cruise through Pamlico County to say Thank You to Veterans. Nov 7 @ 11a.
Sr. Vice Commandant Steve Simmons of the Marine Corps League Oriental Dragon Detachment 1413 along with Tom Lathrop will be the Grand Marshals for the Cruisin’ for Our Vets ride through Pamlico County. Mr. Simmons is a Vietnam veteran and Mr. Lathrop is a Korean War veteran and Tin Can Sailor.
The ride begins at the Pamlico Community College Delamar Center parking lot. Please arrive between 10:30 – 10:45a to allow for lining up and last minute vehicle decoration.
The route is: leave PCC. Go north on Hwy 306 to Hwy 55 in Grantsboro. Continue on Hwy 55 E to Oriental. Go across the Oriental Bridge to the stop sign and turn right on Janiero Road. Turn left on Kershaw Road back out to Hwy 306 where the ride will disband.
Anyone wishing to participate in the Cruisin’ is welcome to do so and may decorate their vehicle or motorcycle with American flags or Military flags. No political flags or signs, please.
