The Village Gallery welcomes November’s Artist of the Month, Dan Beck.

Before he committed to a life as an artists, Dan Beck was filling sketch books and journals with scenes from his jobs as a ranch hand, construction worker, infantryman, and more. Realizing his sketch books meant the most to him, he committed to an artistic path.

Beck works in oils and, while being firmly rooted in Impressionism, is equally adept at figurative, still-life, and landscape. His paintings are in both private and corporate collections nationally, as well as in Canada, Japan, and the Middle East. Beck’s work is in the permanent collection of the Littleton Historical Museum in Littleton, CO and he has exhibited with the Phippen Museum in Prescott, AZ.

He currently lives in Wilmington, NC with his family.
