Evening at the Museum: Aids To Navigation - Sept 25Oriental History Museum hosts the Evening at the Museum Speaker Series, Thursday evenings at 6:30p.
This Thursday, Sept 25, Ross Pease presents Aids to Navigation, all those red and green markers and buoys that help guide mariners safely through the waters. Ross is an Oriental icon: he worked at the Provision Company, former Harbormaster at Oriental Harbor Marina, a teacher at World Wide Marine Training, and a master at knots and line.
Doors open at 6p, the presentation begins at 6:30p.
The Oriental History Museum is at 802 Broad Street. The museum is a 501©(3) non-profit. Admission is always free. Donations are welcome.
