Oriental History Museum hosts the Evening at the Museum Speaker Series, Thursday evenings at 6:30p.
Thursday, August 6, Dale Montgomery presents the history of Travel on the Neuse. Known for his ghost stories, Dale tells the story of the Neuse River and the people who used it: from fishing to showboats, log rafts to blockade running, Native Americans, Palatine immigrants and the slave trade.
This presentation is at the Museum, and starts promptly at 6:30p, followed by a Q&A. Please arrive a few minutes early to find your seat.
The Oriental History Museum is at 802 Broad Street. The museum is a 501©(3) non-profit. Admission is always free. Donations are welcome.
