Who Lived in Pamlico County First? The Oriental History Museum invites you to the Native Americans of Pamlico County exhibit, Sept 27 through Jan 2025
Native Americans of the Algonquian tribes lived in the area long ago. The Museum’s new exhibit explores their history, culture, and living environment. A collection of artifacts – mostly from the shores of the Neuse River – will be on display.
The Oriental History Museum is at 802 Broad Street. Hours are: Friday 11-3 and Saturday 1-4. Admission is free, donations accepted. For more information about the museum and this exhibit, contact: orientalhistorymuseum@gmail.com
