Flounder Festival 2021 - July 2-3Oriental welcomes the Flounder Festival, Friday July 2 – Saturday July 3. Fireworks are Friday night, launching from the bridge.
The parade is 10a Saturday. The theme: ‘Finding Flounder’. To register your group or float for the parade, click here.
Music at the Tiki Bar Friday and Saturday nights. Arts & crafts vendors. Food booths run by non-profits are invited to participate.

The fireworks show is big – it costs about $10,000. This gets paid for by donations. Checks can be made out to “Spirit of Independence” and either sent to or dropped off at 204 Wall Street, Oriental, NC 28571.
