Halloween Regatta - Oct 31Bow to Stern Boating hosts Oriental’s first Halloween Regatta, Saturday, October 31.
Dress up your boat and your crew for Halloween on the Water. Large Egyptian barges, middling pirate ships, dinghy-sized ferryboats on the River Styx – all vessels of all kinds are welcome to sail. Be creative with your decorations.
New to racing? Practice your skills and learn the ropes at this pressure-free regatta.
Start at 11a Saturday, Oct 31 between the Committee (Judges’) boat and the Pumpkin Buoy beside marker 1AC. Course is announced at Judges’ boat at the starting line. Will be the government marks (Adams Creek, Garbacon, and 1AC). Round with most windward leg first. Post regatta festivities are postponed until after COVID.
