Hurricane Preparedness Forum - Aug 17Oriental Town Hall, along with a representative from The National Weather Service in Newport/Morehead City, NC holds a Hurricane Preparedness Forum, Monday, Aug 17 at 6p at Oriental Town Hall.
This forum is free and open to all. A meteorologist with the National Weather Service gives a presentation on hurricanes and their impacts on Eastern North Carolina. After, Town Manager Diane Miller presents Oriental’s Hurricane Preparedness plan.
The end of the presentation transitions to a Q&A discussion.
