The Village Gallery features works of Linda Werthwein, its guest artist for March 2019. Her paintings are on display through the end of the month.

Oceanic, equestrian and dance themes run through Werthwein’s works – both representational and abstract. Using blended oils and watercolors, including a unique Asian brush style, she has drawn from her life in coastal NC, and travels to the Caribbean, Central and South America and East Africa. She is a member of the NC Watercolor Society, and has taught art in a wide range of settings from NC public schools to a maximum security prison.

The Village Gallery is located at 300 Hodges Street, across from Oriental’s harbor.
