Love, Loss and What I Wore: Apr 25 - 27

Love, Loss and What I Wore comes to the Old Theater stage April 25 – 27. Monologues and ensemble pieces follow stories about the nostalgic power of women’s clothing. A cast of five women enrobed in black sit on stools and share universal memories about their families and loved ones through the prism of their closets.

Memories cover life’s key subjects… mothers, proms, mothers, buying bras, hating purses, and why we only wear black. Five local actresses portray the characters: Nelda Coates, Elaine Creel, Jessica Russo, Gail Vergato, and Christine Wager.

Love, Loss and What I Wore is produced by the Old Theater’s production company, Pamlico Players, under the leadership of Per Erichsen and directed by Deirdre Murray.

Shows April 25 and 26 at 7:00p, April 27 at 3:00p. Tickets $25 ($20 for Old Theater members, military, and students). Available at Nautical Wheelers in Oriental and New Bern and online at www.oldtheater.org.

The Old Theater is a 501©(3) nonprofit organization, a venue for performing arts at 609 Broad Street in Oriental.
