The Old Theater presents Dr. Stanley R. Riggs, ECU professor emeritus and coastal geologist, in “Messing About in Boats: 60 Years in NC’s Land of Water” on Sunday, April 19 at 3p.

A short video on the NC Land of Water book series opens the program, followed by Riggs sharing six decades of fieldwork—from a $900 oyster boat to National Science Foundation research vessels.

His new book, Cape Lookout National Seashore, will be available for purchase and signing. All proceeds from book sales support NCLOW – North Carolina Land of Water – and its partner organizations.
