Operation Veggie Box is holding their annual boxing event this Saturday, Jun 30 @ 9a at Bethany Christian Church in Arapahoe. Volunteers from area churches, Camp Seafarer, and other organizations will pack 1,000 boxes with produce donated by local farms like Don Lee Farms, Sackett Potatoes, Tull Hill Farms, and Flatland Ag.

Operation Veggie Box (OVB) is a non-profit with a mission to feed the hungry, physically and spiritually. They grow vegetables in supply gardens, delivering the produce to food banks and churches, who in turn give to those in need. OVB also supplies box gardens to those who need food and teaches them how to grow their own vegetables. In keeping with the mission, each box is packed with a spiritual message.
