Learn Quick Watercolor Portraits with Karen Schaaf, May 17, 10a-4p at ArtWorks Oriental.

Signature Water Color Artist, Karen Schaaf, teaches a one day, six hour workshop: Quick Portraits. Using a limited, three color palette, Karen teaches a wet on wet process for painting face-only portraits. These smaller quarter sheet works can be suitable for framing, but also can serve as sketches for larger planned watercolor paintings.

Class is for those with basic watercolor experience & will focus on technique, using a table top easel (provided). Artists are invited to bring their own favorite paints, brushes, and cold press 140 wt or better paper. However, kits with all supplies necessary will be offered for an additional fee. Supply list will be provided to enrollees.
