Rice Hulls For Earth Day @ Tidewater Grain - Apr 20Join Tidewater Grain for an Earth Day Celebration Saturday, April 20, from 10a – 2p at their mill on Callison Rd.
Get a tour of the mill, find out how their operation works, how they operate as a sustainable, no-waste enterprise, and pick up some free rice hulls for your garden / bean bag / or stalls.
Bring your own containers for the hulls. For a donation, members of the Pamlico County High School FFA can help bag and load your hulls. (500 lb limit for families and businesses).
The Tidewater Grain Mill is at 570 Callison Road in Oriental, off Highway 55 near Paul’s Produce Stand. This is a free event.
