The SailPack Interconference Regatta is scheduled for April 20-21

The SailPack has hosted invitational regattas in recent years here in Oriental – its coastal training waters or “2nd home” as coach Dana Magliola puts it. The Sailpack Regatta in Oriental is an official interconference event recognized by the ICSA, the governing body of college sailing. There are about 18 collegiate teams participating in two days of sailing.

Saturday night is the BBQ at Bow to Stern (290 Blackwell Point Loop Rd) with live music beginning at 5:30p.
Dinner served from 6-7p. This is a fundraiser to help students defray the cost of travel and the regatta as a whole. Tickets are $15 and are available at Bow to Stern Boating and the Provision Company.  Follow signs and attendants on Blackwell Point Loop for parking.

• 8a Sailors Start to Arrive at Bow to Stern
• 8:15a Breakfast Available
• 9a Sailor’s Meeting
• 10a First Gun – watch from Lou Mac Park
• 4:30p No Races Start After
• 5:30p Music by Hoff n’ Finch at the BBQ Social at Bow to Stern. All are welcome.
• 6p Dinner Available (BBQ, Sweet Potatoes, Baked Beans, Bread, and Slaw) for $15
• 7p Dinner Service Wraps Up (ok if you are a little late)
• 8:30p Music Wraps Up

Sunday
• 8:30a Continental Breakfast Available
• 10:00a First Gun
• 2:30p No Races After
