The Village Gallery welcomes October’s artist of the month, Sue Henry.

Susan is a colorist, and paints in oils. Her themes focus on her coastal lifestyle. She prefers to work on location – en plein air – to capture the light and essence of a particular subject.

Sue has owned and run a marine graphics business, sailed both racing and cruising sailboats, and lived and worked in Oriental, NC for three decades. She paints along the Atlantic Coast near her home in the south as well as north to the coast of Maine.
