The Old Theater Film Festival Weekend, Jan 26 – 27. Screen the movies made during the 48-Hour Small Town Film Festival.
Several teams met at The Old Theater on Friday, January 19 to find out what they’d need to do to compete int he 48-Hour Film Festival.
Organizer Teresa Conrad gave them the details: 1 film, 4-7 minutes long with credits, due by Sunday, January 21 at 7p.
Each film had to include: a hammer, an officer of the law, and the line: “Well that didn’t work, did it”. Teams pulled two genres out of a hat, and had to use one of them in their film. Some chose to use both.
And they did it all – writing, shooting, acting, editing – in 48 hours.
Now it’s time to screen the films – The judges will make their choice – and so will the audience.
Come see the films at The Old Theater, Friday & Saturday, January 26 & 27 at 7:30p. Select your winners for best Best Film, Best Director, Best Acting, and more.
Awards Ceremony is Sunday, January 28 at 3p.
Get your tickets to the Film Festival here. $10 general admission, $8 for Old Theater members, Military, and students.
