48 Hour Film Festival Screenings: Jan 17 - 18The 48 Hour Film Festival is a competition for local filmmakers to produce a short film in only a weekend. It’s for all levels, from beginner to pro.
Film teams attend a kickoff meeting Jan 10 where they draw a genre and receive the required elements. They have the weekend to plan, write, and film to submit their entry by 5p on Sunday, Jan 12.
• Screening of films at The Old Theater in Oriental on Jan 17 and 18 at 7:30p.
• Winning films are screened Sunday Jan 19 at an Awards Ceremony and trophies will be presented in 10 categories, from Best Film to Best Story Line.

- Jan 17 at 7:30 – 48 Hour Film Festival Screening
- Jan 18 at 7:30 – 48 Hour Film Festival Screening
- Jan 19 at 3:00 – 48 Hour Film Festival Awards Ceremony
