The Secret Agency puts on a free performs at the Red Rooster, Tuesday night at 6p, courtesy of the Pamlico County Arts Council.

The Secret Agency is a Grammy winning hip hop performance group visiting Pamlico County schools. They’re in town hosting a Rhyme Writing Master Class and Hip Hop Dance Workshop for middle and high school students, and on Tuesday night they bring their family friendly performance to the Red Rooster.

The group won the 2017 Grammy for Best Children’s Album and the 2020 Grand Prize in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Their aim is to get students writing and expressing themselves lyrically, to get them on a microphone, and rapping their own original creations.

This is a free performance, though donations are accepted. All are invited. The Pamlico County Arts Festival has invited the group to work and perform in local schools, to bring the arts – writing, dancing, music, and more – into the lives of the children of Pamlico County.
