Grammy winning trio The String Revolution comes to the Old Theater, Friday, February 6 at 7:30p, presented by Pamlico Musical Society.

Formed in 2015 and based in Los Angeles, The String Revolution is a boundary-pushing, genre-blending ensemble comprised of three world-class guitarists who fuse diverse styles into a singular, captivating sound. With a style marked by intricate melodies, rich harmonies, and virtuosic technique, the trio features guitarist Janet Robin, who has toured with the likes of Lindsey Buckingham, Air Supply and others; Markus Illko, an award-winning Austrian guitarist; and Cuban guitarist Rober Luis.

With a 2024 Grammy Award under their belt, The String Revolution’s innovative arrangements of original and cover songs incorporate percussive techniques and sonic effects that have gained them international recognition and made them one of the most sought-after guitar trios in the world today.
