Pamlico Musical Society welcomes Nathan Meltzer and Umi Garrett to the Old Theater Saturday, January 14 @ 7:30p.
Musical prodigies and recent Julliard School of Music graduates, Nathan Meltzer (violin) and Umi Garrett (piano) play at the Old Theater on January 14. Both are highly acclaimed classical soloists, orchestral, and chamber musicians.
Garret began playing piano at the age of four and released her first solo album at nine. Meltzer began playing violin at 8 and is the youngest to ever win the Windsor Festival Competition. He is the current custodian of the Ames Totenberg Stradivarius.
The show is made possible by is made possible in part by the non-profit organization Partners in Performance. Tickets to the Young Artist Recital are $25 and are available in Oriental at Nautical Wheelers, 411 Broad Street, and online at www.pamlicomusic.org. Tickets for sold-out shows may become available at the door last minute. Check at the box office at 7:15
