Scooters were trouble in RaleighApril 15, 2021
At Oriental’s April Town Board meeting, a proposal was presented to bring Bird scooters to Oriental. Some are not enthused with the prospect.
I am a part time resident of Pamlico County, spending the rest of my time in Raleigh. I saw the town was approached by the Bird Scooter company, who wants to put their scooters in Oriental. As Barney Fife used to say, “Nip it in the bud”.These scooters were a nuisance in Raleigh, and I can’t see them working in Oriental.
