Letters: Thank you for your Kindness
A request answered
February 11, 2026

Several weeks ago, Ellen Ryder put out a request for cat things for a local non-profit. The community responded.

I would like to send a heartfelt thank you to all those that generously donated “cat things” and more to the local non profit cat rescue per my ad placed two weeks ago on TownDock.

Our tally thus far are 5 cat trees, 7 beds, litter, boxes, crates and toys and 2 Cattasaurus interactive play caves (which they love)!
A Cattasaurus cave.
I knew that I would get some response but I am truly blown away (but not surprised) by people’s kindness.

I am keeping this campaign going so again if you have any cat things or know anyone that does please reach out to me and I will be happy to pick anything up.

Thank you again TownDock for making this platform available to us and thank you to the people of Oriental and Arapahoe and also my good friends at “music night” that also generously donated to our cause. We are grateful to live in such a kind-hearted town. The animals deserve all the help that we can provide. They truly make the world a better place.

Thank you,
Ellen Ryder
