2023 Spirit of Christmas Parade

oats and horses, musicians on trailers, and a Santa (or two). Oriental’s Spirit of Christmas parade had them all.

Several streets in Oriental – including Broad Street (Highway 55) – shut down for half an hour to let the parade go by.

The flute players lead the Pamlico County High School Band.

It’s the biggest part of the Spirit of Christmas weekend. Town residents and volunteers make it happen, every second Saturday in December.
