Bow to Stern One Design Regatta 2019
 Five classes, 50 plus sailorsAugust 29, 2019
Bow to Stern held their second One Design Regatta August 10. Participants sailed FJs, Lasers, 420s, multi-hulls, and a PHRF race for keelboats – to keep a level playing field.This is an unsanctioned race; sailors were asked to solve their disputes on the water and enjoy the day.
Mason Caroon came in first in the multi-hull class.Grandkids, grandparents, and every one in between handled lines and pulled tillers in this year’s regatta; more than 50 sailors in five classes. Mayor Sally Belangia welcomed participants – some from as far away as Washington state – to the race. Brantley’s Restaurant prepared dinner and Rick Huff provided the music.
Reliable chalkboard technology provides the team assignments and day’s weather conditions.The winners in the five divisions were:

- Family Affair Award – The Plaice Family: Wyatt, Rhonin, and Aiden Plaice sailing with their Fat her, Mother, and Grandmother Andy & Tonya Plaice, and Debra Childress in 3 child/adult teams
- Maiden Voyage/Regatta/Grounding Award- William Wallace and his “new to him” Erikson 27
