ow to Stern held their second One Design Regatta August 10. Participants sailed FJs, Lasers, 420s, multi-hulls, and a PHRF race for keelboats – to keep a level playing field.

This is an unsanctioned race; sailors were asked to solve their disputes on the water and enjoy the day.

Mason Caroon came in first in the multi-hull class.

Grandkids, grandparents, and every one in between handled lines and pulled tillers in this year’s regatta; more than 50 sailors in five classes. Mayor Sally Belangia welcomed participants – some from as far away as Washington state – to the race. Brantley’s Restaurant prepared dinner and Rick Huff provided the music.

Reliable chalkboard technology provides the team assignments and day’s weather conditions.
