Friday Night Luminaria
Luminaria at the feet of some of the Pamlico High School Choir singers. 800 of the luminaria were set out, along Hodges Street, Broad, Freemason and South Avenue.
The luminaria stretched to Lou Mac Park.
Lighting of another style at River Neuse Suites where the BBQ grill seemed resplendent in emeralds: it was the effect of a Bliss light.
At River Neuse Suites, those who walked the few blocks from the harbor, were treated to cups of a chowder full of seafood. One of the hotel’s owners, Pat Mason served it up.
At the wharf, after the crowds had gone, luminaria and the Oriental Star light up the scene.
Oriental’s one traffic rotary, at Hodges and Wall. One luminaria lighted the spot, while lines of the white-bagged candles stretched down Hodges.
