PAWS Pet Parade 2025
Banana Bandit Top Dog
April 15, 2025

U
sually, it’s the pet’s costume that wins the day. For the 2025 PAWS Pet Parade, it may have been the human’s ensemble.

There’s just something about a man dressed like a banana.

It was a cloudy & cool spring day, but that didn’t stop 55 pets showing up to parade Saturday April 12. PAWS is the Pamlico Animal Welfare Society. They held their annual Pet Parade at Lou Mac Park.

Some pets were proud of their outfits. Some, perhaps with cause, looked more than a bit embarrassed.
