BEST IN SHOW duo: Sammi and Sophie – Tonya Smith and Ben Reese

A dance broke out along the parade route for Caroline James and June Durham. Caroline and her sister Emmie were walking their grandfather’s Corgi, Fergie, while June’s rescue dog, Bella was making her public debut at the Pet Parade.

Skooter says, “Neuter!”. Marian and Per Erichsen’s dogs won for Most Unusual. Here, Skooter shows off the poster he wore, reflecting PAWS’ effort to reduce the number of unwanted pets.

Burt took part in the festivities from a wheelbarrow pushed by his human, Jennifer Roe.

Caped crusader – Ben Reese as Oriental Dragon Tamer. He walked the dragons — Sophie and Sammi — in the parade. Ben’s willingness to don the cape and costume was cited as one reason for snaring the Best In Show award.
