At sunrise Friday morning, MV Mariner III, anchored off Oriental. She was launched in 1926 in Winslow, Washington. Mariner III is 122 ft, built of 3” teak planks. Today she is a charter vessel, spending summers at Chelsea Pier in New York, and winters at West Palm Beach. She and her crew stopped at Oriental for two nights on their way south.
