At left, Sylvia “Ms. Sil” and Brantley Norman, in a 2005 photo. In 2005 they had just celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary. At right, Ms. Sil with one of her trademark pies. Sylvia Norman passed away Tuesday morning, age 87 (Brantley Norman departed in 2018).
